Idaho Cesarean Rates

In 2015, Idaho had the fifth-lowest NTSV cesarean rate in the country. Only 19.4% of first-time moms with low-risk deliveries had a cesarean.

Idaho also has the fifth best VBAC rate. In 2014, 19.5% of women with a previous C-section gave birth vaginally.

If you don't see your hospital's rate on the Leapfrog Group web site, it's because they don't report their maternity data to the Leapfrog Hospital Survey. Take action! Ask them why not.
