Montana Cesarean Rates



Montana's NTSV cesarean rate in 2015 was 23.7%, which is just below the Healthy People 2020 target of 23.9% for first time moms with a low-risk delivery.

In 2014, 88.3% of women with a previous C-section went on to have a repeat section.

Contact your department of health if you think they should publish recent maternity data.
