Virginia Cesarean Rates

The Virginia Department of Health ( is no longer collecting VBAC, primary or repeat cesarean data. Virginia once led the charge in obstetric data transparency and was the first and only state to ever publish provider-level data. Now that site has only 2008 data and hasn't been updated since 2012. Contact the Virginia Department of Health if you think consumers should be able to access OB data, including C-section and VBAC rates.
